The City of Cupertino is facing a significant budget deficit. The city proposed different measures to reduce the deficit. Please see here for more details.

Cupertino’s City Council is weighing up to 32 potential service-level reductions for Fiscal Year 2024-25. If all are approved, it could save approximately $10.5M for the City of Cupertino. The City Council will likely  approve a budget in April or May. Some of the savings are due to identified accounting adjustments but most of the service-level reductions directly affect residents.

We at the Cupertino Voice are not affiliated with the City of Cupertino, but comprise a small group of residents who feel that our residents should have an opportunity to weigh in on the proposed service-level reductions which may affect their everyday life.
