The City of Cupertino is updating its Housing Element in order to meet state mandated Regional Housing Needs Allocations (RHNA) of 4,588 new housing units for the period of 2023 – 2031. It is not clear how many residents are aware of these changes or of how they might impact their neighborhoods. Please see here for details about RHNA and the Cupertino Housing Element.
