The survey system was designed by Cupertino resident Long Jiao. Its goal is to make the results verifiable without compromising privacy.
The survey is inclusive since everyone can participate, but it classifies registered voters with email addresses into a separate category because they will go through a two-factor authentication process. The survey includes two categories of participants: registered voters and general public. If you are a registered voter but don’t have your email registered, please add your email so you will be counted in a different category when we update the voter data.
When you submit your survey, a verification code will be given to you. Please write down this code to ensure your results are properly recorded later.
Our goal is to share insights from these polls with the community and utilize them to achieve better public representation in policy and decision making.
Your identity is kept confidential. The purpose of our surveys is to enhance the communication of community sentiment and opinion with our City Council, and also to promote dialog and interest among our residents on important city issues.
